You spend all night setting up your every own blog, but in short time you realize nobody is coming to read it. Furthermore now that you have a blog what do you do next?
Initial steps you must meet before heading to the success of online businesses is looking for visitor traffic. How important is the traffic for your blog? For me it’s very important step in starting a business online.
So what should we do to get that traffic? In this article I will try to share some tips on increasing your blog traffic and help the process of self-branding.
Here are tips on improving your traffic for free:
1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO). There is very much explanation and articles that discuss Search Engine Optimization, and the purpose of SEO is to get Targeted Traffic.
2. Giving Something In Free. This requires a process, because you must create something to be distributed for free. For example, E-Book for free, Free Templates, Wordpress Theme Free and many more.
3. Forum Signature. Forum signatures are a few words or sentences that located at the bottom of your posts on the forum. Try to be active in the forum so you get a good reputation, so that all the attributes attached to your nickname wanted to view by other members, including the signature.
4. Blogwalking. Blogwalking is to make a comment on an article on another blog. There are several objectives of the bloggers do blogwalking such as make friends, comment on articles, search for backlinks and also expect a visitor back, and from this visit you get traffic.
5. Creating Controversial Articles. Try to create an article that invites controversy and follow the current trends and deploy your writing through blogwalking, forums or social bookmarking.
6. Active on Yahoo Answers. Yahoo Answers is a question and answer service provided by Yahoo! free. You can use this service to increase your blog traffic by answering questions and include a link to your blog in it.
7. Banner and Link Exchange. This means that you exchange your links or banners with other blogs on the condition that you have to display links or banners of the other blogs in your blog.
8. Make a Profile on Amazon. The goal is not for doing a business online at Amazon, but you are actively reviewing all existing products on Amazon, each review will draw attention from web visitors who saw the product.
9. Creating Unique Video. Try to make a funny and unique video that can attract thousands of viewers. Include your blog URL at the beginning and end of the video.
10. Ask Your Blog Reviewed. Participate in web development forums such as DigitalPoint, Sitepoint, V7N, and so on. Go to the category of Web Review, and ask for your blog reviewed.
